Rita's Core Copper Bracelet

There are pieces you put on and feel something shift, not dramatically, just a quiet steadiness that wasn’t there a minute before. I made this one for the days when you want to feel like yourself again.

The grooves are cut by hand, three clean channels pressed evenly along the face of the cuff. Nothing decorative about them, just form, intention, and the rhythm of the work.

Set in 99.99% pure copper, the piece is designed to sit close and comfortably against the skin. People who wear copper daily tend to notice the same subtle changes over time. I’ve stopped being surprised by it long ago.

Part of my final collection from the workshop. I hope it finds someone who’ll wear it every day, that’s when it truly comes into its own.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Handforged from 99.9% pure copper in Rita's workshop in Wicklow, Ireland. Every piece is shaped individually with a hammer and anvil, so small variations in texture are part of the process, not a flaw. Comes in a soft cotton pouch.

HOW DO I KNOW IF IT'S REAL COPPER?

Real copper is heavier than plated metal and warms quickly against your skin. Genuine copper will naturally develop a patina over time — a gradual darkening or warming of tone with wear. If a piece never changes color at all, it likely isn't solid copper.

COPPER CARE

To keep the shine: wipe with a soft cloth after wearing, and clean occasionally with a mix of lemon juice and salt, or a dedicated copper polish. Prefer the natural look? Just wear it, many people love the deeper patina copper develops on its own over time. Avoid harsh chemicals and long soaks in water.

4 Things to Know About Rita's Copper

A Tradition Worth Continuing

People have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years. It's a small, simple tradition Rita continues by hand, one piece at a time.

Made for Daily Wear

Light enough to forget you're wearing it, sturdy enough for daily life. Made to be worn, not kept in a drawer.

Develops Its Own Patina

Real copper changes with wear — a warm, gradual patina unique to your skin. No two pieces ever look the same after a few months.

Made by Hand, Piece by Piece

No machines, no molds. Rita shapes every piece herself, in her workshop in Wicklow — and once this collection sells out, it won't be remade.
